Big Money for Farm Drainage in Our Region

Good news for the farmers around us: the Northern Ontario Farm Innovation Alliance just landed $1 million to work on a major tile-drainage project right here in the Timiskaming–Cochrane region. The project covers 1,800 acres and will help improve drainage on farmland. Better drainage means healthier soil, better crops, and a stronger future for farming families who feed our town. It's the kind of investment that shows someone's paying attention to what matters out here.
